At 7:00 a.m. on October 6, the center of the tropical depression was at about 22.0 degrees North latitude; 107.1 degrees East longitude, in the southern area of ​​Guangxi province (China). The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression was level 7 (50-61 km/h), gusting to level 9. Moving westward at a speed of 20-25 km/h.
