
"Overcoming the sun and conquering the rain"
An exhibition showcasing the nation's achievements, held to commemorate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2nd, with the theme: 80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness, will take place from August 28th to September 5th, 2025 at the National Exhibition Center, Co Loa, Dong Anh, Hanoi .
According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MOCST) - the organizing agency of the Exhibition, this is one of the key activities with a large scale. The requirement is to portray a comprehensive and holistic picture of 80 years of protecting, building, and developing the country, ensuring inclusiveness, objectivity, honesty, effectiveness, and widespread impact.

According to Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong, the exhibition not only showcases the country's outstanding achievements in all fields such as economy , society, culture, security, defense, science and technology, but also aims to inspire the younger generation with patriotism and national pride. Modern technology will help spread that message in a more accessible and engaging way.
Currently, preparations at the exhibition booths are underway as construction units work diligently, braving the sun and rain to complete the work. Many major items are nearly finished, and the shape of a nationwide exhibition is gradually taking form, generating anticipation and excitement among the public.
In the main lobby and central hall areas, the design phase has been completed, the site has been taken over, and construction is progressing rapidly. Many items are being implemented simultaneously to meet the set deadline.


Speaking with Hanoi Moi Newspaper, Mr. Tran Thanh Tung, General Director of My Thanh Advertising and Entertainment Co., Ltd., one of the units involved in constructing several booths in the Exhibition, said: The company is putting all its efforts into this, arranging many work shifts throughout the day to quickly complete the installation items and ensure the progress meets the requirements.
Meanwhile, the exhibition area of the Institute of Social Sciences Information, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, is also 70-80% complete and is entering the final stage.

With the theme "Vietnamese Social Sciences – Knowledge Shaping the Future," the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences showcases outstanding achievements in research and contributions to the Party and State in the process of nation-building. The exhibition space comprises three parts: Decoding History – The Roots of Vietnamese Culture; Building Development; and International Integration and Dissemination of Vietnamese Culture.

At this time, not only is the main area of the Exhibition Center rushing to completion on schedule, but many roads leading to the Exhibition are also brightly decorated with flags, flowers, and banners... Large four-sided banners introducing the Exhibition have appeared on Truong Sa Street.

Recently, at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism headquarters, Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee for the National Achievements Exhibition, chaired a meeting of the Content Subcommittee to review the design mock-up for the national identity exhibition commemorating the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2nd.


According to Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong, the design work and other items for the Exhibition of National Achievements have been implemented on schedule by ministries, departments, localities, businesses, and construction units.
The National Achievements Exhibition is an unprecedentedly large-scale national event, with the participation of central ministries, departments, and organizations, 34 provinces and cities, businesses, strategic partners, and diplomatic corps.
The exhibition is divided into several sections. The general section at the Kim Quy Exhibition House is themed "Vietnam - A Journey to a New Era," including the "Vietnam - Country - People" space, implemented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, showcasing Vietnamese culture, art, nature, land, and people. The "95 Years of the Party Flag Guiding the Way" space is implemented by the Nhan Dan Newspaper; and the "Creating Development" space, a collaboration between the Nhan Dan Newspaper and various ministries and agencies, introduces the history and achievements in many fields of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The "Prosperous Provinces, Strong Nation" space showcases the achievements of the Doi Moi (Renovation) period, cultural identity, and potential of 34 provinces and cities. The "Economic Locomotives" space reflects the development achievements of state-owned enterprises. The "Startup for National Development" space introduces the achievements of exemplary private enterprises and national brands with the aspiration to build a prosperous nation.
The outdoor zone, themed "Integration and Development," comprises five spaces: "For a Green Future" implemented by the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Industry and Trade; "Aspiration for the Sky" implemented by the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Construction; "Sword and Shield" implemented by the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of National Defense…

The International Zone and 12 cultural industries in Exhibition Hall Block A are themed "Integration and Creativity." The Vietnam and World space is for showcasing the diplomatic sector and embassies. The Creativity space is for presenting works and products from the 12 cultural industries, along with the achievements of each field.
“The exhibition is not only a political and cultural highlight but also a catalyst for spreading national spirit and inspiring aspirations for a strong and prosperous nation. This is a highlight in the series of events celebrating National Day on September 2nd, creating an atmosphere of excitement and unity among the entire population,” Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong affirmed.
It is understood that, in preparation for the opening ceremony on August 28th, the Content Subcommittee will continue to review and inspect the entire exhibition space from now until August 20th.
