Speed up construction of road 390B

The 390B Road Upgrade Project (Hai Phong City) is being accelerated by a consortium of 4 enterprises following the motto of building roads as land is available.

The project to upgrade provincial road 390B and build a bypass section passing through Thanh Ha commune, over 10 km long, is invested by the West Hai Phong Construction Investment Project Management Board with a total cost of 720 billion VND.

The project passes through Thanh Ha, Ha Nam and Ha Bac communes, reclaiming land from about 800 households with more than 23 hectares. Currently, the section through Thanh Ha commune has been cleared, and construction units are actively expanding the road.

The project has the participation of a consortium of joint stock companies: Northern Electrical Equipment Construction and Repair; Viet Hoa Construction and Trade; Khang Nguyen Infrastructure Construction Investment and Loan Khai Trading Construction Investment Company Limited.

The route is upgraded to the standard of a grade III plain road. The road has a 12 m wide base, including the bypass section through the center of Thanh Ha commune. The highlight of the project is the Huong River overpass consisting of 5 girder spans with a bridge surface of 16.5 m wide and the Ac bridge section through Ha Bac commune has been renovated and widened to 17 m.

More than 40 workers and laborers working on the construction of the Huong River Bridge take turns working in shifts.

Due to the large volume of land clearance, the communes have developed plans to complete the land clearance in the fourth quarter of 2025. However, with the motto of building roads as soon as land is available, construction units are mobilizing maximum resources, human resources, and machinery to build the project, expected to be completed by the end of this year.
