Over the course of implementation, Ca Mau province has completed 25 out of 25 essential public services in the fields of residence, civil registration, social insurance, education , health, land, labor, etc., in the electronic environment. As of September 23, 2024, 246,905 out of 249,043 online applications have been processed, reaching 99.14%. The province has provided fully online public services for 1,075 procedures and partially online public services for 428 procedures, all of which have been integrated into the National Public Service Portal.

The province's rate of processing applications through online public services reached over 81%; the rate of digitizing documents and results of administrative procedures reached 84%; and the rate of online payments reached nearly 84%. This contributes to increasing the transparency of administrative procedures, creating favorable conditions for citizens and businesses to resolve administrative procedures anytime, anywhere through the online environment, saving time, effort, and costs, and reducing inconvenience for the people.

Currently, cashless payments are gradually becoming a habit for the people. In the healthcare sector, six banks are partnering to provide services to 16 medical facilities to implement cashless payment of hospital fees. In the education sector, three banks are partnering to provide services to 99 educational and training institutions. Importantly, this helps reduce people's worries about their bank accounts being stolen.

In the coming period, the Provincial Police will continue to strengthen the activation of level 2 electronic identity verification accounts for eligible citizens in the province, and guide citizens in installing and using the VNeID application.
