Nestlé Group celebrates 30 years of establishment

Attending the ceremony were Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Vo Van Hung; Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Cao Van Quang; Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Minh Dung; Consul General of Switzerland in Ho Chi Minh City Werner Bardill; and leaders of a number of departments, branches, and partner enterprises of Nestlé Group.

Operating since 1995, Nestlé Vietnam currently has about 2,300 employees and operates 4 factories nationwide. The total investment capital of Nestlé Vietnam to date is over 20 trillion VND. With the philosophy of "Creating shared value", over the past 30 years, Nestlé Vietnam has been implementing many multilateral cooperation programs to bring practical benefits to the community, contributing to the realization of the country's sustainable and comprehensive development goals. This is the guiding principle for the next steps on the journey with Vietnam towards a green and prosperous future.

According to Mr. Binu Jacob, Nestlé Tri An factory has invested more than 4.3 trillion VND in the 2024-2025 period. This is not only an investment to expand operations but also a long-term commitment to accompany Vietnam in the era of development. Nestlé will continue to invest in human capital development, technological innovation, digital transformation, green growth and contribute to the comprehensive development of Vietnam in the new period.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Minh Dung said that over the past 30 years, Dong Nai has been a dynamic economic center of the Southern key economic region, playing a role in connecting key economic regions of the country and the world.

According to the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, enterprises, including FDI enterprises as well as corporations, are an important driving force to promote the province's economic development. Dong Nai is committed to building a friendly and close investment environment, while supporting enterprises in terms of state management. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also acknowledged and highly appreciated Nestlé's positive contributions in bringing economic values ​​and implementing well social activities, environmental protection and sustainable development.

On this occasion, Nestlé Vietnam also received a certificate of merit from the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment for its outstanding contributions to promoting agricultural and rural development in Vietnam in the period of 2019-2024. At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee presented a banner and a certificate of merit for Nestlé's contributions to the locality over the past 30 years.
