Ngan Tin commences construction on a residential project aiming for EDGE green building certification.

Ngan Tin Group held a groundbreaking ceremony for Residential Area Project 05, located at point 3, on land along the extended main road of the Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, covering 5.8 hectares. The project aims to achieve EDGE green certification.

In Phu Cat district, Binh Dinh province, Ngan Tin Investment Group Joint Stock Company (hereinafter referred to as Ngan Tin Group) recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Residential Area 05 Project, located at point 3, on the land along the extended main road of the Nhon Hoi Economic Zone in Cat Tien town.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Dinh Phu Minh, General Director of Ngan Tin Group, said that the project was recognized by Binh Dinh province as having won the land use rights auction on November 27, 2023 (over 166 billion VND) and was granted a permit for the construction of technical infrastructure on June 20, 2024 (total investment of 1,093 billion VND - PV).

According to Mr. Minh, the project, covering 5.8 hectares, is planned to build a residential area comprising 193 townhouses and villas, accommodating approximately 695 people. Once completed, the project will effectively utilize the land along the extended economic zone's main road, ensuring seamless infrastructure and landscape integration with other sub-zones and neighboring projects within the Nhon Hoi Economic Zone.

“We are committed to building Cat Tien with the highest quality, using premium materials and advanced technology. We are determined to carry out all stages of design and construction to meet the stringent standards of the EDGE certification – an international certification for green buildings issued by the IFC of the World Bank,” Mr. Minh pledged.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai, Director of the Institute of Construction Science and Technology, stated that the construction of green buildings that save energy and resources has become an inevitable trend in the construction industry, aiming towards a sustainable future for future generations.

According to Mr. Hai, the Cat Tien Residential Area 05 Project was developed with the desire to meet the stringent standards of the EDGE certification. Although the project has not yet achieved this certification, with the strong commitment of the investor and the serious work ethic of all parties involved, it is believed that the goal of obtaining this certification will be achieved.

“We are fully confident that, with thorough preparation and the dedication of everyone involved, the Cat Tien Residential Area Project 05 will not only achieve green building certification but also become a model of sustainable development in Vietnam,” stated the Director of the Institute of Construction Science and Technology.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Dang Vinh Son, Head of the Management Board of the Binh Dinh Provincial Economic Zone, stated that the Residential Area 05 Project, located at Point 3, on the land along the extended Economic Zone main road, is considered one of the residential projects within the Cat Tien Urban Area with a unique location and beautiful topography at the gateway to the Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, accessible from Phu Cat Airport and along the main road towards the center of Quy Nhon City, close to the sea.

Therefore, the project is attracting considerable attention and is expected to become a high-class residential area with townhouses and services, adding a distinctive touch to Cat Tien town, Phu Cat district, and the Nhon Hoi Economic Zone.

Mr. Son assessed that, with its extensive experience and professionalism, Ngan Tin Group will successfully develop the project, maximizing its existing potential and advantages, creating a new attractive residential area in the near future.

According to Mr. Son, the investor completed its financial obligations regarding land earlier than the stipulated schedule (30 days), and this was recognized by the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province, which agreed to award a Certificate of Commendation from the Provincial Chairman for its positive contribution to attracting investment and contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.

To implement the project, Mr. Son suggested that Ngan Tin Group closely coordinate with the provincial authorities to continue implementing and completing the procedures in accordance with regulations; focus on preparing all necessary conditions regarding human resources, financial resources, equipment, and propose the most effective solutions to accelerate the investment and construction progress…

In Binh Dinh province, Ngan Tin Group is the investor of the Bai Xep International Beach Resort Project with a total investment of 2,500 billion VND, and phase 1 has already commenced. The Group has also been awarded a Memorandum of Understanding to explore and research the development of an urban area project in Quy Nhon City.
