Training on new tax policies

The aim is to accompany and support businesses and taxpayers in keeping up-to-date with new tax policies, helping them to better comply with and enforce the law.

The Binh Thuan Tax Department recently collaborated with the Vietnam Tax Consulting Association to organize a training course for over 500 people, including accountants representing businesses and taxpayers in the province.

The training course was taught by two instructors: Ms. Nguyen Thi Cuc – Chairperson of the Vietnam Tax Advisory Council, Arbitrator at the VIAC International Arbitration Center, and Mr. Nguyen Huu Tan – Senior Specialist, Chief of Office of the Vietnam Tax Advisory Council. The one-day training included in-person sessions at the Provincial Tax Department's auditorium and online sessions for district and town tax offices. The training content included: guidance on regulations regarding electronic invoices generated from cash registers, and electronic invoices for business and retail gasoline sales activities according to the Tax Administration Law and Government Decree 123. Additionally, it introduced software and application features for electronic invoices generated from cash registers and electronic invoices for business and retail gasoline sales activities from electronic invoice solution providers.

During the training course, Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Hoang - Director of the Binh Thuan Tax Department, along with two instructors, engaged in dialogue and answered questions regarding tax payment issues. The trainees received answers to numerous questions surrounding electronic invoices in value-added tax refunds, the value-added tax reduction policy under Government Decree 44, the land lease fee reduction policy for 2023 under Prime Minister 's Decision 25, corporate income tax and personal income tax declarations and payments, and tax settlements for 2023…
