On the morning of October 31, the Provincial Tax Department held an online conference to introduce tax policies and dialogue with businesses in the fourth quarter of 2024.

At the conference, more than 200 enterprises in the province were informed of support policies for taxpayers affected by natural disasters such as: tax payment extension; exemption of late payment fees; exemption of administrative penalties for tax management violations; input value-added tax deduction; deductible expenses when calculating corporate income tax (uncompensated loss value, funding to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, expenses to support families of workers affected by natural disasters); reduction of special consumption tax; exemption and reduction of resource tax; exemption and reduction of non- agricultural land use tax; exemption, reduction and extension of tax for business households and individuals. In addition, officials of the Provincial Tax Department also introduced some information on tax policies for medical, educational and training establishments; at the same time, received and answered taxpayers' questions about tax policies and tax administrative procedures.

This is one of the programs in the plan to organize the week "Accompanying Taxpayers" taking place from October 28 to November 1. Organizing it online not only creates favorable conditions for many businesses in the province to participate in the conference but also helps businesses reduce costs, thereby promptly updating new tax policies, clearly understanding and properly implementing the provisions of the law on tax.
