Training on Project 01 for female officials and members.

(GLO) - On September 16th, in Pleiku ward, the Gia Lai Women's Union organized a training course on "Improving the quality of leadership and management of Women's Union branches at all levels in supporting and developing the collective economy and cooperatives, and enhancing management capacity for members of the management boards of cooperatives owned or managed by women."

The training course was attended by 150 female officials, members of women's associations, and members of cooperatives, cooperative groups, and liên kết groups in 77 communes and wards in the western part of the province. This activity is part of Project 01 on "Supporting cooperatives managed by women, creating jobs for female workers by 2030" in Gia Lai province in 2025.

During the training course, participants were introduced to the new points of the 2023 Cooperative Law and policies for the development of the collective economy and cooperatives by Mr. Huynh Chi Dong Hai, Head of Training and Communication of the Vietnam Creative Startup Community. They also received guidance on building brands for cooperatives and products, practical exercises in developing production and business plans, and the use of AI tools to support marketing, content creation, and business model operation.

Through the implementation of Project 01, the development of the collective economy and cooperatives with the participation of women in leadership and management roles has been promoted, increasing employment, income, and improving the economic status of female workers, especially in rural areas and ethnic minority regions in the province.
