Attending the training course were representatives and officials from 11 communes and wards that manage martyrs' cemeteries in the province.
During the training session, delegates were briefed on the basic procedures for collecting samples of unidentified remains of fallen soldiers; guided on the steps for sample collection, preservation, sealing, and handover according to regulations; and instructed on digitizing information and updating data into the system for management, matching, and DNA verification.

In addition to disseminating operational procedures, the presenters also discussed and addressed difficulties and obstacles encountered during implementation at the grassroots level, contributing to ensuring that sample collection and management are carried out consistently, scientifically , and accurately.

Through the training course, the staff directly involved in carrying out the task were equipped with additional knowledge and professional skills, contributing to improving the effectiveness of the Project on Collecting, Storing, and Analyzing DNA Information of Relatives of Unidentified Martyrs and the Remains of Martyrs, serving the work of searching for, collecting, and identifying martyrs in the province.

This training course is of particular importance in the context of the entire province implementing the "500-day campaign to intensify the task of searching for, collecting, and identifying the remains of martyrs whose information is incomplete," leading up to the 80th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2027).
By standardizing the sampling process, sample delivery, and digitization of information on the remains of fallen soldiers, localities will gradually build an accurate and complete data source, creating an important basis for DNA analysis and matching. This is considered a breakthrough solution, applying scientific and technological achievements to help identify fallen soldiers whose identities are still unknown, fulfilling the aspirations of their relatives and families, and profoundly demonstrating the principle of "drinking water, remembering the source," the gratitude of the Party, State, and People towards those who bravely sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
