Tay Ho: Staying close to the grassroots and promptly resolving pressing social issues.

On November 14th, Tay Ho ward organized a dialogue conference between the head of the Party committee and the government with the Fatherland Front, political and social organizations, and representatives of the people in the area to listen to the thoughts and aspirations of the people and promptly resolve emerging issues at the grassroots level.

In his opening remarks, Nguyen Dinh Khuyen, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Tay Ho Ward, emphasized that the direct dialogue aims to improve the effectiveness of Party leadership, tighten administrative discipline, and strengthen the people's trust in the local government. The Secretary of the Tay Ho Ward Party Committee urged delegates to boldly contribute their opinions in the spirit of "the people know - the people discuss - the people do - the people inspect - the people supervise - the people benefit," focusing on practical issues to improve the quality of life for the people…

At the conference, Vice Chairman of Tay Ho Ward People's Committee Bui Tuan Duong gave a general report on the socio -economic situation in 2025 and summarized the results of implementing the conclusions after the dialogue conference of the Party Committee and the government in 2024.

The conference recorded 16 suggestions from the people focusing on socio-economic development, national defense and security, social order and safety; land clearance, land management, construction order, and environmental sanitation. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tinh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ho Ward, directly addressed the suggestions and requests within his authority.

In his concluding remarks, the Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Tay Ho Ward, Nguyen Dinh Khuyen, respectfully acknowledged the heartfelt and responsible contributions of the people. Emphasizing the tasks to be implemented in the coming period, Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khuyen requested that all units continue to uphold their spirit and responsibility, strengthen their engagement with the grassroots to directly listen to and absorb the people's feedback, and promptly resolve pressing social issues. This will build trust and consensus among the people with the Party committees and government at all levels.

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khuyen also requested that units continue to effectively implement the Regulations on Democracy at the grassroots level, promoting the people's right to self-governance; creating conditions for the Vietnam Fatherland Front and political and social organizations to promote their role and responsibility in social supervision and criticism, and participate in contributing ideas to Party building and government building.

Alongside the effective implementation of the Party Committee's work programs for the entire term (2025-2030), it is necessary to strictly adhere to the procedures for receiving citizens, resolving petitions, complaints, denunciations, and suggestions promptly and in accordance with regulations, without allowing them to remain unresolved for extended periods. In particular, focus should be placed on land management, construction order, fire prevention and control, and the management of historical relics, considering these as key and ongoing tasks that the ward's Party committee and government must address.

The Secretary of the Party Committee of Tay Ho Ward also requested that units effectively implement administrative reform, improve service quality, simplify and shorten procedures and processing times for administrative matters for organizations and individuals contacting the ward for work.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations need to strengthen propaganda, effectively carry out mass mobilization work and assess people's satisfaction, and quickly bring the Party's resolutions into life, contributing to the successful achievement of socio-economic development goals and improving the lives of people in the ward.
