The event is part of the activities in response to Vietnam Science , Technology and Innovation Day (May 18) in Ho Chi Minh City.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Lam Dinh Thang, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, emphasized: “Ho Chi Minh City identifies science and technology and innovation as the key and breakthrough tool to transform challenges into new growth drivers, helping to optimize resources, master sustainable economic models, thereby enhancing competitiveness in the region and internationally, and forming new economic drivers in the coming period. At the same time, this event also demonstrates close collaboration between businesses, localities, and experts in the journey of green transformation.”

The event focuses on introducing, showcasing, and promoting the transfer of green ESG technology solutions, clean energy, and the circular economy, contributing to achieving the goal of net-zero emissions by 2050 and sustainable development. The technologies prioritized for participation are concentrated in four main groups: Green energy and energy-saving technologies; environmental treatment and circular economy technologies; ESG monitoring, measurement, and governance technologies; and green materials technologies.

The highlight of the event is the exhibition area with 50 live booths showcasing many outstanding technological solutions such as solar power, wind power, biomass, energy storage technology; waste, wastewater, and exhaust gas treatment systems; resource recycling and reuse technologies; IoT solutions, sensors, and digital platforms for monitoring and analyzing ESG data; and environmentally friendly materials, recycled materials, and energy-saving materials for manufacturing and construction.
