These 10 monkeys belong to 4 species: Long-tailed macaque, golden macaque, octopus and red-faced macaque. They were rescued in good health, free of infectious diseases, free of permanent disabilities, able to adapt and find food for themselves after release, capable of reproducing, forming groups and not causing conflicts with other species or causing imbalance in the release area.

It is known that Bai Tu Long National Park in Van Don District, Quang Ninh Province has received and released into the natural environment over 200 animals of various species.
