Thai Nguyen simultaneously commenced construction and inaugurated key projects to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

This morning (December 19th), along with the rest of the country, Thai Nguyen province solemnly held the groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies for key projects in the province, including: Thai Nguyen Provincial Stadium; social housing in the Viet Han Urban Area; and investment in the construction and operation of infrastructure in Phu Binh Industrial Park.

Starting at 9:00 AM this morning (December 19th), a particularly important political event is taking place simultaneously across the country: the groundbreaking, inauguration, and technical opening of 234 projects and works commemorating the 79th anniversary of the National Resistance Day and welcoming the 14th National Congress of the Party. The central point of contact is located at the Olympic Sports Urban Area Project (Thuong Phuc commune, Hanoi).

According to the Ministry of Construction 's summary, the construction and inauguration projects on this occasion have a total investment of over 3.4 million billion VND, many of which are nationally symbolic projects; including 96 projects with over 627 trillion VND of state capital, accounting for 18% of the total investment, and 138 projects with over 2.79 million billion VND from other sources, accounting for 82% of the total investment.

In the context of Thai Nguyen province leveraging its new potential and advantages after administrative reorganization, the commencement of the Phu Binh Industrial Park further affirms the province's strong political determination to utilize its strategic location and increasingly synchronized transportation infrastructure to become an important growth pole and a modern industrial center of the Hanoi Capital Region.

The Phu Binh Industrial Park is planned with a total area of ​​675 hectares across three communes: Phu Binh, Tan Thanh, and Kha Son. The project is located adjacent to the Ring Road 5, a position that connects the industrial park to strategic national transportation routes, seaports, logistics centers, and major economic hubs.

According to its development orientation, Phu Binh Industrial Park prioritizes attracting high-tech, green technology, semiconductor, and supporting industries that are environmentally friendly and have high added value. Coupled with the advantage of abundant, skilled human resources and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies in Thai Nguyen and the surrounding region, this is an important foundation for forming a high-tech industrial ecosystem, contributing to enhancing the province's competitiveness and position in the regional and global value chain.

The leaders presented gifts from the Provincial People's Committee to representatives of the people in the three project area communes: Phu Binh, Tan Thanh, and Kha Son.

The Phu Binh Industrial Park project is invested in by Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation, a reputable group with a strong brand and extensive experience in industrial park infrastructure development. To ensure the project is implemented on schedule and efficiently, Thai Nguyen province has provided decisive and coordinated guidance from the planning and land clearance stages to the completion of investment procedures.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan emphasized: Thai Nguyen province has planned many industrial zones, of which 12 are already in operation, and 6 have an occupancy rate of over 90%.

During the process of adjusting the provincial planning, Thai Nguyen is adding 14 more industrial zones, raising the total land allocated for industrial development to over 16,000 hectares. Along with its multimodal connectivity and high-quality human resources, these are major competitive advantages for Thai Nguyen province in the northern region.

The Thai Nguyen Stadium construction project is a provincial-level sports facility with 22,000 seats, a total investment of nearly 536 billion VND, and is built on an area of ​​15.47 hectares. To date, the project has completed technical acceptance testing, fire safety acceptance testing, and is ready for operation and use.

The social housing project in the Viet Han Urban Area, Pho Yen Ward, covers an area of ​​2.92 hectares with a total investment of over 982 billion VND, and is invested by Viet Han Capital Investment Joint Stock Company. This is one of the key social housing development projects in the province, playing an important role in meeting the housing needs of low-income people and industrial zone workers.

The commencement of the project demonstrates the determination of Thai Nguyen province and the investor in implementing the "Investment in the construction of at least 1 million social housing units for low-income earners and industrial park workers in the period 2021–2030" scheme, as stipulated in Decision No. 338/QD-TTg dated April 3, 2023, of the Prime Minister. This contributes to concretizing the major policies of the Party and State on social security and sustainable urban development associated with the process of industrialization and modernization.

The social housing project in the Viet Han Urban Area, upon completion, will contribute to addressing the housing needs of workers, stabilizing the workforce in industrial zones in the area; at the same time, it will create an additional supply of quality housing at affordable prices, contributing to improving the quality of life for residents, promoting socio-economic development, and building Pho Yen ward into a young, dynamic urban area of ​​Thai Nguyen province.

The investor commits to implementing the project in accordance with the planning and permits, ensuring progress, and adhering to technical standards; focusing on construction quality, labor safety, and environmental hygiene. They will closely coordinate with relevant departments, agencies, and local authorities during the implementation process to promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles.
