Thai Nguyen: Outstanding credit increased by more than 7%

Continuing the growth momentum, by April 30, 2025, outstanding loans in the province had increased to VND 130,744 billion, an increase of 7.14% compared to the end of 2024. The acceleration from the beginning of the year shows that the confidence and capital needs of businesses and people in the province continue to remain high, creating a positive driving force for local economic growth in 2025.

Notably, Thai Nguyen continues to affirm its role as the credit center of the region when outstanding loans in the province account for 23% of the total outstanding loans of Region V (including the provinces of Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang , Bac Ninh, Lang Son, Cao Bang, Bac Kan). This is the result of close coordination between the banking sector and local authorities in removing credit difficulties, promoting loans for production, business and consumption.
