According to the reporter, on the morning of August 22, Thai Nguyen Provincial Police mobilized hundreds of officers, soldiers and fire trucks to clean up and wash water in the yard of the Central Cultural House. Although the mud was thick, after about two hours with the cooperation of associations, organizations and people, the mud and garbage were basically cleared. Most of the yard of the Cultural House and many traffic routes in the ward have become clean and clear.
Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Duc Du, Bac Kan Ward Police, said: Due to unusually heavy rainfall, many roads, schools, and cultural houses in the ward were eroded and flooded, affecting travel and the transportation of goods. Some households along streams and in steep terrain had water and rocks flowing into their houses, causing property damage.
Faced with that situation, the ward police coordinated with local forces to mobilize human resources and equipment to support the people. On August 22, nearly 200 officers and soldiers continued to overcome the situation, clear mud, clear sewers, and clean the environment, striving to complete the work as soon as possible.
Ms. Nguyen Minh Phuong, Secretary of the Bac Kan Ward Youth Union, said: The ward youth union has mobilized nearly 100 youth union members to support schools and households. By the morning of August 22, mud and soil at schools had been cleaned up and basically repaired. Some traffic routes and public places are still being processed. Youth union members closely coordinate with other forces to help people move their belongings to safe places, dredge mud and soil, and clear water flows in flooded areas, in order to soon stabilize people's lives.

Due to unusually heavy rainfall, many areas were flooded, water flooded into houses, affecting people's daily life and damaging some equipment, while some other households were affected by landslides. Local authorities continue to direct forces to coordinate to overcome the consequences, ensure environmental sanitation and safety for people.
Thanks to the active support of the armed forces, cadres, party members and people, the affected households have gradually stabilized their lives. Up to this point, many schools, houses, roads, the yard of the Central Cultural House and basic public areas have been cleaned up, contributing to helping people soon stabilize their lives.
