More than 90 facilities have been certified for safe food supply chains.

To achieve the goal of developing safe and sustainable agriculture, Thai Nguyen province has so far had 91 establishments certified as having safe food supply chains, including 51 tea production establishments and 40 establishments producing other products such as pork, chicken, honey, rice, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, etc.

Along with that, the whole province has 451 cultivation facilities with an area of ​​over 4,460 hectares, 92 livestock facilities and 5 aquaculture facilities certified for safe production according to valid VietGAP standards. In addition, the area of ​​crops certified as organic is still valid is over 151 hectares.

In the coming time, the provincial Department of Agriculture plans to expand the production area according to VietGAP and organic standards; at the same time, strengthen quality inspection and supervision to ensure consumer safety and meet market requirements.
