Thai Nguyen: Sparkling Full Moon Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival program

On the evening of October 3, Thai Nguyen province organized the Mid-Autumn Festival Program and the Mid-Autumn Festival Lantern Parade Competition at the provincial level with the theme "Thai Nguyen - Sparkling Full Moon Festival Night". The program was deployed simultaneously at 3 main locations: Vo Nguyen Giap Square (Phan Dinh Phung Ward), Van Xuan Square (Van Xuan Ward) and the Cultural House Square (Bac Kan Ward). The event attracted tens of thousands of people, children and tourists to participate.

This is the largest Mid-Autumn Festival program ever, not only a festival for children, but also an opportunity to honor and promote traditional cultural beauty, arouse the spirit of solidarity and creativity, opening up a direction of combining culture - tourism - trade for Thai Nguyen.

Attending the program were comrade Dinh Quang Tuyen, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; comrades of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches, units, localities of the province, along with a large number of people and tourists from all over.
Welcome night performance
From early evening, the venues were bustling. On the main stage were a series of special performances combining lion and dragon dances, the “Uncle Cuoi - Sister Hang” scene, and street Carnival performances, creating a vibrant and colorful atmosphere.
Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee held a provincial-level Mid-Autumn Festival Lantern Parade Competition. with nearly 100 participating lighting models, coming from 92 communes, wards, schools, businesses, and residential groups.
* At Vo Nguyen Giap Square, there was a lantern procession competition with the participation of 30 communes, wards, and 4 schools and businesses in the province.
After the special art program with the theme “Thai Nguyen - Sparkling Mid-Autumn Festival Night”, there was a parade, Mid-Autumn lantern procession and street Carnaval art performance. The shimmering colors of lanterns, bustling parades, combined with jubilant music brought a vibrant, unique and surprising art space for locals and tourists.

At Van Xuan Square, about 30 models of communes and wards were selected to parade and perform before a large audience.
Each lamp model is not only a work of art, but also conveys a story of local culture, tradition, history and the aspiration to build a "prosperous, modern, and affectionate" Thai Nguyen.
This is the largest Mid-Autumn Festival program ever in Thai Nguyen province.
At the Cultural House Square (Bac Kan ward) and some streets in Duc Xuan ward, Bac Kan, there was the participation of 32 communes and wards.
Many people eagerly watched the program.
The program also has meaningful activities for children: organizing a Mid-Autumn Festival, giving away 30 bicycles and 109 scholarships to children in difficult circumstances, providing more motivation for them to strive to study well.
The program is expected to continue on the evening of October 4 with special art performances, awards for outstanding models and the traditional banquet ceremony.
