Visiting and extending New Year greetings to officials, soldiers, and people of Con Co island district.

Authorized by the Ministry of National Defence , Military Region 4, and the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province, a delegation from the Provincial Military Command, led by the Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Colonel Nguyen Huu Dan, recently visited, presented gifts, and extended New Year greetings to officers, soldiers, and people of Con Co island district on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025 (Year of the Snake).

At the meeting, Colonel Nguyen Huu Dan presented gifts from the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense; the Party Committee and Command of Military Region 4; the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province; the Provincial Border Affairs Committee; and the Party Committee and Provincial Military Command of Quang Tri province to the departments, organizations, agencies, units, officials, and people of Con Co island district.

At the same time, we encourage the officers, soldiers, and people of Con Co island district to uphold their heroic traditions, unite, love, and help each other, actively coordinate and effectively implement plans to protect the island, and excellently fulfill all assigned tasks. We wish the officers, soldiers, people of the island district, and their families a joyful, warm, and absolutely safe Lunar New Year.

During the working trip, the Provincial Military Command visited and laid flowers and incense at the Ho Chi Minh Memorial House and the Monument to the Heroes and Martyrs on Con Co Island; and inspected the combat readiness of officers and soldiers of the armed forces on the island.

During his visits, Colonel Nguyen Huu Dan cordially inquired about and encouraged officers and soldiers to continue inheriting and promoting the heroic traditions of the nation, excellently fulfilling all assigned tasks; managing and firmly protecting the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland's seas, islands, and continental shelf, especially successfully carrying out political tasks before, during, and after the Lunar New Year - 2025.
