Visiting and wishing a Happy New Year to officers, soldiers and people of Con Co island district

Authorized by the Ministry of National Defense , Military Region 4, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province, the working delegation of the Provincial Military Command (CHQS) led by the Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Colonel Nguyen Huu Dan, recently visited, presented gifts, and wished a happy new year to officers, soldiers, and people of Con Co island district on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.

At the meeting, Colonel Nguyen Huu Dan presented gifts from the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense; the Party Committee, the Military Region 4 Command; the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; the Provincial Border Work Committee; the Party Committee, the Military Command of Quang Tri province to departments, branches, organizations, agencies, units, cadres and people of Con Co island district.

At the same time, encourage the officers, soldiers and people of Con Co island district to promote the heroic tradition, solidarity, love and help each other, actively coordinate to implement plans to protect the island, and excellently complete all assigned tasks. Wishing the officers, soldiers, people of the island district and their families a happy and warm Lunar New Year, ensuring absolute safety.

During the working trip, the Provincial Military Command visited and offered flowers and incense at the Ho Chi Minh Memorial House and the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs on Con Co Island; and inspected the combat readiness of officers and soldiers of the armed forces on the island.

At the places he visited, Colonel Nguyen Huu Dan kindly visited and encouraged officers and soldiers to continue inheriting and promoting the heroic tradition of the nation, excellently completing all assigned tasks; firmly managing and protecting the sovereignty of the sea, islands and sacred continental shelf of the Fatherland, especially successfully carrying out political tasks before, during and after the Lunar New Year - 2025.
