Visiting the family of the child who died from drowning in Trinh Tuong commune

On September 26, the working delegation of Trinh Tuong commune visited, encouraged and expressed condolences to the family of the child who died from drowning on June 30.

Trinh Tuong commune leaders sincerely sent their deepest condolences and hoped that the family would take care of their health, overcome the loss and soon stabilize their lives.

Authorized by the Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee, the delegation presented 25 million VND to support the victim's family with funeral expenses. The amount was taken from the Lao Cai Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee Fund.

The working delegation visited, encouraged and provided support to the victim's family.

Previously, on June 30, 2025, LHD (born in 2013), son of Nguyen Thi Thuy, residing in Bau Bang village, Trinh Tuong commune, went to his maternal hometown in Muong Bat village, Gia Phu commune to play and unfortunately drowned. Immediately after receiving the news, the Party Committee and authorities of Gia Phu and Trinh Tuong communes mobilized forces to join the family in searching. On July 5, the child's body was found and brought back to the family for burial according to local customs.

This support is a continuation of the care and sharing that local authorities and organizations have given to the family since the heartbreaking incident occurred.
