From December 12 to 20, leaders of the Provincial Ethnic Committee visited and presented gifts to 89 prestigious people among ethnic minorities in the province, each gift worth 1 million VND.
At the places visited, the leaders of the Provincial Ethnic Committee kindly asked about the health of the prestigious people and their families; encouraged the prestigious people to continue to maintain their prestige and promote their role to work with the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front, organizations and people to perform well the political tasks in the locality; propagate and mobilize relatives and the community to well implement the State's policies and laws; actively work, produce, and sustainably eliminate hunger and reduce poverty.

This is one of the key activities in 2023 of the Provincial Ethnic Committee to provide material support and spiritual encouragement to families of prestigious people in ethnic minorities facing difficult circumstances due to natural disasters, visit sick and elderly prestigious people, and relatives of deceased prestigious people. Thereby, encouraging prestigious people and their families to overcome difficulties and rise up in life.
