According to this Decision, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in charge of culture, sports and tourism is the Head of the Steering Committee; the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is the Deputy Head of the Steering Committee.
The Steering Committee members include: one Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in charge of tourism, as a Standing Member; and representatives from the following agencies and units: the Provincial Police Department, the Provincial Military Command, the Department of Finance, the Department of Construction, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Internal Affairs, the Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Health, the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Quang Ngai Newspaper and Radio and Television Station, the Quang Ngai Provincial Statistics Office; representatives from the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center; the Chairpersons of the People's Committees of communes, wards, and the Ly Son Special Zone; and representatives from the Quang Ngai Provincial Tourism Association and the Quang Ngai Provincial Business Association.

The Steering Committee's nhiệm vụ is to direct the development, inspection, and supervision of departments, agencies, and the People's Committees of communes, wards, and the Ly Son Special Economic Zone in the construction and implementation of specific plans and programs for tourism development in each stage, in accordance with the socio-economic development goals of the country and the province; to propose recommendations to competent authorities for consideration and resolution of obstacles related to mechanisms and policies on tourism development in Quang Ngai province; and to direct departments, agencies, the People's Committees of communes, wards, the Ly Son Special Economic Zone, and mass media agencies to carry out propaganda and dissemination of guidelines and policies related to tourism development in the province.
In summary, the report to the Provincial People's Committee, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the State Steering Committee on Tourism Development will summarize the implementation of tourism development programs and plans as prescribed, and the results of carrying out tasks related to tourism.
Assigning tasks to members of the Steering Committee, establishing a Support Team, issuing operating regulations, work plans, and leading and implementing the plan to ensure quality and progress.
The Steering Committee operates on a part-time basis; its members perform their duties according to the assignments of the Head of the Steering Committee, and the Steering Committee is assisted by a Support Team established by the Steering Committee.
The Head of the Steering Committee is authorized to use the seal of the Provincial People's Committee; the Deputy Head of the Steering Committee is authorized to use the seal of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the process of managing and implementing tasks and in contacting relevant parties.
The Quang Ngai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is the permanent agency of the Steering Committee, responsible for advising on the implementation of tasks and ensuring the necessary conditions to support the activities of the Steering Committee.
