Yen Tu, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the announcement of the Decision to establish the Management Board of Monuments and Landscapes and decisions related to personnel work .
The Management Board of Monuments and Landscapes was established on the basis of transferring the status quo of the Management Board of Tran Dynasty Relic Site, the Management Board of Yen Tu National Relics and Forest, and the Management Board of Bach Dang National Special Historical Relic to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism for reorganization according to regulations. On that basis, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has presided over the development of the Project to merge the above units and has been approved by the Provincial People's Committee.
At the conference, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced the decision to appoint leaders of the Monuments and Landscapes Management Board. Accordingly, Mr. Le Tien Dung, Head of the Monuments and National Forest Management Board of Yen Tu was appointed to the position of Head of the Monuments and Landscapes Management Board. The Deputy Heads include: Mr. Pham Chien Thang, Head of the Bach Dang Special National Historical Relics Management Board; Mr. Pham Van Luu, Deputy Head of the Bach Dang Special National Historical Relics Management Board; Mr. Le Van Thao, Deputy Head of the Yen Tu Monuments and National Forest Management Board; Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong and Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh, Deputy Heads of the Tran Dynasty Relics Management Board.
The establishment of the Monuments and Landscapes Management Board under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is a concrete step to implement the policy of rearranging and reorganizing administrative units, and at the same time building a two-level local government model. The merger of Monuments Management Boards is a correct, strategic decision and long-term orientation in the journey to submit the Yen Tu Monuments and Landscapes complex to UNESCO for recognition as a World Cultural Heritage; creating a combined and unified strength in the work of preserving and promoting heritage values.
