Establishment of Phu Quoc Economic Zone Management Board

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed Decision No. 1500/QD-TTg dated July 9, 2025 to establish the Phu Quoc Economic Zone Management Board, An Giang province.

Accordingly, the Phu Quoc Economic Zone Management Board, An Giang province is an agency under the People's Committee of An Giang province, performing the function of direct state management of the economic zone in Phu Quoc special zone, An Giang province; managing and organizing the implementation of the function of providing public administrative services and other support services related to investment, production and business activities for enterprises in the economic zone according to the provisions of law.

The Management Board has legal status, an account, a seal with the national emblem; state administrative management expenses, career operation expenses of the Management Board and development investment capital are provided by the state budget according to the plan and other funding sources according to regulations of competent state agencies.

The Management Board performs duties and powers in accordance with current laws.

The Head of the Management Board shall submit to the People's Committee of An Giang province specific regulations on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Management Board in accordance with the provisions of law.

This Decision takes effect from July 9, 2025; repeals Decision No. 1588/QD-TTg dated September 14, 2015 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Phu Quoc Economic Zone Management Board, Kien Giang province.
