Establishing a grassroots trade union at TV BAKERY Co., Ltd.

On the morning of May 30th, the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor (LĐLĐ) held a conference to establish a grassroots trade union at TV BAKERY Co., Ltd. (Long Duc Industrial Park, Long Duc Ward). Attending the conference was Ms. Vo Thi Thu Oanh, Vice President of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor.

Comrade Vo Thi Thu Oanh - Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor Unions, presented the decisions to the union members of the Trade Union Branch of TV BAKERY Co., Ltd.

At the conference, representatives from the Provincial Labor Union announced the decision to establish the Trade Union of TV BAKERY Co., Ltd., comprising 40 union members; appointing a 3-member Executive Committee and a 3-member Inspection Committee. Mr. Bui Gia Tu was appointed as the Chairman of the Trade Union of TV BAKERY Co., Ltd.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Vo Thi Thu Oanh, Vice President of the Provincial Labor Union, congratulated the Trade Union of TV BAKERY Co., Ltd. on its official establishment. She also requested that the Executive Committee of the Trade Union quickly stabilize the organization, develop operating regulations in accordance with the Vietnam Trade Union Charter, and promote its role in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers. Through this, she urged the strong dissemination of patriotic emulation movements and the movement for excellent and creative labor, contributing to increased productivity, business efficiency, and the building of harmonious and progressive relationships within the company.

Comrade Truong Thanh Dung - Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Head of the Trade Union Committee in charge of Propaganda and Women's Affairs of the Provincial Federation of Labor Unions, presented the decision to the comrades participating in the Inspection Committee of the Trade Union of TV BAKERY Co., Ltd.

Representatives of the Trade Union of TV BAKERY Co., Ltd. pledged to soon develop operating regulations; to bring the activities of the Trade Union into order, and to effectively fulfill the task of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.

TV BAKERY Co., Ltd., a company specializing in bread trading, was established in 2022 and employs 50 people. Since the beginning of the year, the company has exported 35 tons of bread to Australia.
