According to Mr. Nguyen Dang Chuong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Giang district, the locality not only develops the economy but also focuses on protecting the environment and preserving the cultural values ​​of ethnic minority communities.

In particular, Thanh My will be a place where modernity and tradition converge, fostering sustainable development and building a new life with many amenities, ensuring social welfare for residents. The current concern of the locality is to find solutions to expand urban space, creating a distinctive and unique urban form within the context of limited space due to the terrain.

“Over the past period, the district has implemented a series of important projects on transportation, infrastructure, and urban beautification, developing land to serve the housing needs of the people and planning for the long term. Transportation infrastructure and other criteria will be invested in to meet the goal of striving to become a type 4 urban area after 2030,” Mr. Chuong said.

With clear development strategies and long-term orientations, Thanh My is moving closer to its goal of becoming a dynamic, sustainable urban area, combining industrial development, ecotourism, and cultural preservation.
