Thanh Thúy 'carried the team', but Gunma still lost their second consecutive match.

Despite Thanh Thúy's excellent performance, Gunma Green Wings suffered their second consecutive defeat against Denso in the 2025/26 Japanese National Volleyball Championship.

In the first leg, Gunma Green Wings lost to Denso 1-3. In the rematch on January 18th, the green-jerseyed team was determined to get revenge on their opponent.

In the first two sets, Thanh Thúy 's team played very hard, but still had to accept a 0-2 defeat. In the third set, there were no surprises as Denso still won, ultimately defeating Gunma Green Wings 3-0 (25/22, 25/23, 25/21).

Thanh Thúy played well, but Gunma Green Wings still lost.

In this match, Thanh Thúy remained the main scoring hitter; however, the Vietnamese main attacker couldn't fully showcase her talent because Gunma Green Wings had problems with their second pass.

This is Gunma Green Wings' second consecutive loss in the second half of the Japanese National Volleyball Championship. This result puts Thanh Thúy's team at risk of dropping out of the top 5 in the standings.
