Inspect difficult projects, projects behind schedule, projects with risk of loss and waste

Accordingly, the Government Inspectorate directly inspected 145 projects of central ministries, branches and corporations and general companies under the management of ministries and branches, with a total investment of over 100 billion VND; inspected a number of large projects of localities with a total investment of over 1,500 billion VND. Of which, Phu Tho province has 6 projects including: Dam Coi New Urban Area, the investor is TMS Real Estate Joint Stock Company; Bac Dam Vac Ecological Urban Area, the investor is Song Hong Hoang Gia Joint Stock Company; Nam Dam Vac Red River Ecological Urban Area, the investor is Song Hong Thu Do Group Joint Stock Company; Treatment of flood drainage of Gieng Hin Lake, Thien Ke Commune, Binh Xuyen District, the investor is the Irrigation Sub-Department; Traffic infrastructure project connecting the Capital region in Vinh Phuc province (Ring Road 5 - Capital and the road section along the foot of Tam Dao mountain, connecting Ring Road 5 with National Highway 2B to Tay Thien, going to National Highway 2C and Tuyen Quang).

The Inspectorate of the Ministry of National Defense directly inspected 3 projects under its authority in the list of projects with difficulties and problems. In addition to the projects directly inspected by the Government Inspectorate and the Ministry of National Defense, the Inspectorates of provinces and cities inspected 750 projects in the area with a total investment of over 30 billion VND (Phu Tho province has 37 projects).

The inspection period is from the date of project implementation to July 1, 2025. If necessary, the content related to before or after the above inspection period may be considered. The inspection period, the inspection conducted by the Government Inspectorate shall not exceed 45 days. The inspection conducted by the Inspectorate of the Ministry of National Defense , the Inspectorate of provinces and cities shall not exceed 30 days.

Inspection activities aim to identify the causes of difficulties and obstacles in works and projects, detect limitations and inadequacies of policies and laws to propose, supplement, amend and improve. At the same time, identify responsibilities and propose violations of the law (if any). On that basis, take measures to handle and resolve, avoid loss and waste, contribute to unlocking resources and promoting economic growth.
