Parenting program "Accompanying love - Nurturing the future"

On the afternoon of September 25, at Saigon Hotel, Viet Tri Ward, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) coordinated with the Phu Tho Provincial Women's Union to organize a communication program on parenting with the theme "Accompanying love - Nurturing the future".

Delegates watched a clip with the theme "Parenting education model - the journey of spreading love".

Over the years, the Vietnam Women's Union has always paid special attention to the care, education and protection of children through the role of mothers and families. Many models and programs have been effectively implemented such as Project 704 "Educating 5 million mothers to raise and teach children well", the "Godmother" Program; parent group models, pre-marital education... In particular, from 2023 to 2025, the Central Union coordinated with UNICEF to implement the Parenting Program for comprehensive child development in 5 provinces, with outstanding activities such as: Establishing parent groups, training knowledge for parents with children from 0 to 8 years old, organizing online courses... contributing to raising awareness and skills in child care and protection for parents.

With the motto "Parent education is the foundation for children's development", Project 938 for the period 2024-2025 continues to prioritize building parenting education models in the community, developing a network of propagandists who are Association officials and parents with knowledge and practical experience.

At the program, delegates watched a clip with the theme "Parenting education model - the journey of spreading love", enjoyed a dramatized skit with the message "Learning to be a parent to spread love", participated in a communication topic and a practical Q&A session with experts. The content focused on skills to accompany children, build positive relationships in the family, identify and prevent risks of violence and abuse, helping children develop comprehensively in terms of physical, mental and emotional aspects.

The media program is an opportunity to spread humanistic values, connect the community, affirm the important role of the family in shaping the personality, morality and future of children. This is also one of the specific actions to realize the goal of building a prosperous, progressive, happy and civilized Vietnamese family - a solid foundation for the sustainable development of the country.
