Baoquocte.vn. To celebrate the 69th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2023), the 8th Hanoi Book Fair - 2023 will take place from October 6-8, in the area of ​​Ba Kieu Temple Flower Garden and the sidewalk of Dinh Tien Hoang Street (Hoan Kiem Lake side).

The 8th Hanoi Book Fair - 2023, organized by the Hanoi People's Committee in coordination with the Ministry of Information and Communications , brought together 30 publishers and book distributors from across the country, creating a cultural space for reading and offering many attractive book exchange and experience programs.

The event continued to receive enthusiastic participation from several diplomatic missions (Embassies of Laos, Myanmar, and Italy), showcasing books and introducing the countries and people of these nations, promising many attractive and colorful cultural exchange activities.

With the theme "Igniting the Flame of Knowledge - Shaping the Future ," the 8th Hanoi Book Fair - 2023 features numerous book exhibitions and displays organized by Hanoi Publishing House, offering readers free access to excellent and beautifully designed books that reflect the essence of Thang Long - Hanoi in various fields: history, geography, culture, literature and art, economics and society, etc.

At the Book Fair, publishers and book companies have prepared many meaningful interactive programs and attractive promotional gifts for readers.

Some typical programs include: seminars, book launches and introductions: "Hanoi: A Biography of a City" by William S. Speaking at the opening ceremony on October 6th, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Ha Minh Hai affirmed that the Hanoi Book Fair has become a special event not only to honor reading culture, contribute to building a learning society, and create beauty in the social life of the Capital, but also to deepen the understanding of the great historical significance of the Liberation Day of Hanoi. At the same time, it recalls the traditions of the thousand-year-old heroic, sacred, and elegant Capital, a City for Peace, and a Creative City.
