On the evening of December 16, at the West bank of Dragon Bridge, the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City organized the Lighting of the Christmas Tree, opening a series of activities for the Danang X'mas - New Year Festival 2025.
A large number of people and tourists were immersed in the unique and vibrant art performances - especially the moment the Christmas Tree lit up, marking the beginning of a memorable and emotional festival season.
The 20m high light tree is one of three impressive check-in models at the 2025 Da Nang Christmas and New Year Festival, an ideal stop for locals and tourists, contributing to highlighting the vibrant and warm festival atmosphere of the city.
Deputy Director of Da Nang Department of Tourism Nguyen Thi Hoai An shared: The Light Tree Lighting Program is like a warm welcome from Da Nang not only for visitors from near and far, but also for local people - those who have always accompanied and contributed to the vitality and liveliness of the city. The meaningful moments at the Program will become beautiful, memorable memories in the hearts of everyone, from the friendly people of Da Nang to tourists who are exploring and loving Da Nang.
According to information from the Da Nang Department of Tourism, the Da Nang Christmas - New Year Festival 2025 will be held for the first time, taking place for 20 days (from December 14, 2024 to January 2, 2025) at 3 main locations, including: Northern landscape floor, East bank of Dragon Bridge and East bank of Dragon Bridge Park (land on Tran Hung Dao - Ly Nam De street); Northern landscape floor, West bank of Dragon Bridge (opposite VTV8); Southern landscape floor, West bank of Dragon Bridge (opposite Cham Sculpture Museum). The festival includes a series of unique and novel cultural, tourism, entertainment and recreation activities, aiming to enhance the experience and create a special impression on people and visitors in the moment of welcoming the new year 2025.
