These days, schools in all localities are holding year-end ceremonies for the 2024-2025 school year, gratitude and maturity ceremonies for senior students to express their gratitude to their teachers and preserve memories of their student years. At Nguyen Hien High School, District 11, Ho Chi Minh City, on the recent year-end day, teacher Pham Le Thanh wrote a letter to 33 students of class 12A11 with many thoughtful messages.

In the letter, the teacher said that when he wrote these lines, he and his students had reached the final stop of their journey of 1,000 days of happy youth. At this special moment, when the 12th graders were about to embark on a new journey to continue writing their youthful dreams, the young teacher sent his students four messages:
12th grade students: Always be optimistic, but never be subjective with yourself
The world out there will not always be gentle with you. Sometimes you will encounter rejection, indifference, or unexpected results. When that happens, don't rush to blame circumstances, other people, or luck. Look honestly at yourself. If there is a common denominator for every failure - most likely, it is you. The easiest thing to do is to make excuses, but the most important thing is to take action to change. When you are not successful, it is not because the world is unfair, but maybe because you have not tried hard enough, not been responsible enough for your dreams. Try harder while you still can, always believe in the good things ahead waiting for us!
Lifelong learning
Always look back at yourself, what we are doing, how much of it iseducational , or just entertainment? Learning is lifelong, the moment you stop, it means you are no longer growing, you fade away with time. A person who no longer learns is a person who is standing still and will fall behind. Learning is not only in school, but also from books, life, and people around. Ask yourself every day: "What have I learned today?" When the world changes every hour, those who do not learn will soon be left behind. Reading, listening, observing, and constantly seeking knowledge - that is the way for you to go further, higher.

Don't be afraid to fail
Everyone desires success, but no journey to glory is complete without stumbling. The difference between those who progress and those who stay the same is perseverance and the ability to continue trying despite failures and hurts.
Be brave, dare to think big, dare to try new things, dare to act for what you believe in and more importantly, dare to admit mistakes, dare to correct mistakes to grow up. Failure does not make you inferior, it is just a strict teacher, helping you learn to stand up stronger after each fall. Failure is not scary, giving up is the real failure. Once you overcome the fear in your heart, you will find yourself more courageous, more resilient, and at that moment, success will be closer than ever.
Always be grateful and know how to say thank you
Amidst the hustle and bustle of life out there, I hope you will always keep for yourself a priceless spiritual nourishment, which is gratitude. Gratitude is what helps people live kindly, humanely, and never get lost in the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
First, be grateful to your parents, who have silently sacrificed so that you can be here, have the opportunity to study and grow up. Then there are your teachers, friends, and even strangers out there who have helped you in some small way in life.
Practice gratitude every day with simple acts of love. Because gratitude helps us live more deeply, more strongly, and also makes this life become kinder every day.
Always innovative and creative in teaching, dynamic, accompanying students, the teacher is loved by many students.

Every journey requires a loving heart and a grateful mind.
The 2024-2025 school year ended in Ho Chi Minh City with many beautiful memories between teachers and students. At Nguyen Binh Khiem Primary School, District 1, during the recent primary school completion and gratitude ceremony for 5th grade students, Principal Do Ngoc Chi sent 303 5th grade students a letter full of love and affection.
The letter reads: "303 dear little swallows! Today, you are no longer the shy first graders hiding behind your mothers. You have truly grown up in your thoughts, matured in your actions and matured in your emotions. I call you "childhood swallows", because you, like the first swallows of the season, have flown up from this elementary school yard, carrying hope, carrying pure dreams and a luggage full of love.
You know, swallows are the symbol of spring, of beginnings, of vitality and aspiration. Like you, age 11, the age of turning points, the age of new doors opening wide ahead. From this moment, you will begin a new journey, the journey of conquering knowledge in secondary school, the journey of maturity. And most of all, the journey for you to discover yourself. But always remember that every journey requires a loving heart and a grateful heart...".
