Lionsgate's young adult film The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes added $11.4 million on Nov. 24, adding to the $13.2 million it earned on Nov. 22 and 23.

Things seem to be looking up for The Hunger Games prequel after it opened to $44 million last weekend, and it has a chance to surpass $100 million in North American grosses after 10 days of release.
Meanwhile, Disney's 100th anniversary blockbuster Wish lagged behind, earning $7.9 million on November 24, bringing its domestic total to $20.2 million. It's still a poor showing for Disney, which dominated the November holiday season just a few years ago with family-friendly films like Ralph Breaks the Internet , Frozen II , and Coco .
Wish cost a whopping $200 million to produce. After five days in theaters, it's on track to gross just under $35 million. This animated film isn't off to a great start.

Meanwhile, Sony Pictures is releasing Napoleon in 3,500 theaters, including Imax. Apple Original Films financed Ridley Scott's epic about the French emperor, while Sony handled North American distribution.
Joaquin Phoenix's Napoleon helped the blockbuster surpass Wish to take silver on the North American charts, slightly exceeding expectations and opening to around $33 million after five days.
Napoleon 's global total is expected to be $73 million this weekend, far short of its $200 million budget.
Killers of the Flower Moon has now grossed about $145 million worldwide, leaving Apple's two fall releases to be a relative underachievers in theaters.
Universal's Trolls Band Together grossed $25.5 million over the five-day Thanksgiving holiday, marking a 41% drop from its debut last weekend, finishing fourth on the North American chart.
Rounding out the top five is the Eli Roth-directed slasher Thanksgiving , which grossed $23.5 million in North America — a solid showing for a production budget of just $15 million.
