Nguyen Duc Chien, Le Quoc Nhat Nam, Truong Tien Anh, Hoang Minh, and Huu Thang were among the players who scored.
The three points earned at Vinh Stadium helped The Cong Viettel FC climb from 6th place to the top 3 in the standings. The military team is temporarily in 3rd place with 15 points after the first matchday (November 19) of Round 9 of the V-League 2024-2025.

The team based in Vinh has yet to taste victory since the start of the V-League 2024-2025 season. After 9 rounds, SLNA has drawn 5, lost 4, and currently sits in 13th place with 5 points.
Hai Phong FC secured their first win of the 2024-2025 V-League season. At their home ground, Lach Tray Stadium, coach Chu Dinh Nghiem's team convincingly defeated HAGL 2-0. Following this victory, Hai Phong FC moved up from 12th to 13th place with 7 points.
HAGL (left) is currently ranked 6th and is at risk of further relegation.

Conversely, HAGL FC dropped from 5th to 6th place with 12 points. The team from the mountainous region faces the risk of further relegation, as the clubs below them, such as Binh Duong FC (11 points, 7th place), Hanoi Police FC (11 points, 8th place), and Binh Dinh FC (11 points, 9th place), have yet to play in round 9.
The two leading teams in the standings are Thanh Hoa FC (17 points) and Nam Dinh FC (16 points). Thanh Hoa FC and Nam Dinh FC will compete directly for the top spot in the V-League standings when they play their 9th match on November 20th.
