At the conference, delegates heard a report on the results of the Coast Guard's work in the first six months of the year. Accordingly, in the first six months of 2025, despite facing many difficulties, with the close leadership and guidance of the Party Committee and the commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard, the Coast Guard Region 1 Command thoroughly understood its tasks, implemented comprehensive and synchronized work in all aspects, and successfully completed its duties, notably: combat readiness; firmly protecting sovereignty , security, and safety in the assigned sea area; preventing and combating crime and violations of the law at sea; and actively participating in activities with local authorities.

Major General Le Dinh Cuong presented certificates of commendation to collectives and individuals.

The Regional Command deployed and organized 110 ships and boats to carry out missions, traveling more than 15,000 nautical miles safely. They coordinated with other forces to strengthen patrols and control, preventing foreign fishing vessels from encroaching on Vietnam's waters.

In his remarks at the conference, Major General Le Dinh Cuong acknowledged and commended the achievements and results obtained in the Coast Guard work during the first six months of 2025 by the Coast Guard Region 1 Command.

At the conference, on behalf of the National Steering Committee 389 and the Ministry of National Defense , Major General Le Dinh Cuong presented 4 commendations to the Regional Command and 2 individuals; the commander of the Regional Command also presented commendations from the Ministry of National Defense and the Vietnam Coast Guard to 5 collectives and 11 individuals for their outstanding achievements in performing their duties.
