At the ceremony, the school awarded degrees to 349 university graduates in 6 regular training majors: Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, Nursing; 34 Masters and 3 resident doctors.
The school’s on-time graduation rate is high, with most students graduating above 82%, and for the first time, eight medical students graduated with distinction. In addition, the school also recorded an important step forward in postgraduate training when the first three students completed the residency program, including two students with distinction.
Notably, this year’s graduating classes and students are all those who studied during the most severe period of the Covid-19 pandemic. During the years 2020-2022, when the Covid-19 pandemic was complicated, students had to adapt to online learning, limiting practice at hospitals.
This has a significant impact on course progress, learning quality, and the ability to complete practical requirements on time. However, with the adaptive efforts of the school and learners, along with the close connection of the practical units, undergraduate and postgraduate training programs have been successfully implemented with high graduation rates.

With the mission of training a team of high-quality medical personnel, rich in medical ethics and the ability to integrate, over the past time, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy has continued to innovate its training program in the direction of integration-clinical-interdisciplinary and continued to develop postgraduate training levels: PhD, residency, specialty, international joint training.
Professor, Doctor, People's Physician Le Ngoc Thanh, Rector of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, said that 2025 marks a special milestone in the growth of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy with 15 years of tradition and 5 years of establishment (2020-2025). This is not only a milestone marking the growth in scale and quality, but also a testament to the courage, intelligence and aspirations of a young, modern, dynamic and integrated medical training institution.
In recent years, thanks to the timely attention and direction of the leaders of Hanoi National University, the Party Committee, and the management of the Board of Directors, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy has increasingly increased the scale of undergraduate and graduate enrollment.
In particular, in the past 5 years, from 4 postgraduate training majors, the school now has 12 Master's majors, 13 residency majors and recently five Specialty 1 training programs have started enrolling students...

In addition, diversifying training types and expanding learning opportunities for learners is a strategic step to create favorable conditions for students and trainees to continue studying, practicing and improving their qualifications after graduation.
This is not only an educational orientation, but also demonstrates the school's commitment to building a continuous, lifelong learning ecosystem - where knowledge, skills and professional ethics are always nurtured and developed sustainably.
The school also constantly expands its cooperative relations with prestigious universities and medical organizations in the world, notably the strategic cooperative relationship with Paris-Saclay University (France) - one of the leading research universities in Europe and Mahidol University (Thailand) - the leading medical training unit in the ASEAN region.
From these collaborations, many lecturer-student exchange programs, training program development and scientific research have been effectively implemented. Two outstanding students of the school have just been selected to intern and study at Paris-Saclay University. This is a clear demonstration of the integration capacity, the bravery of the learners and the strong development of the school's academic reputation in the region and internationally.
