According to the Da Nang City Statistics Office, the industrial sector in the first 6 months of 2025 is estimated to increase by 11.95% over the same period in 2024, showing a strong recovery and breakthrough in the manufacturing sector.

Industry grew thanks to the steady development of the processing and manufacturing industry in industrial parks in both Da Nang city and Quang Nam province (old), especially in the electronics, mechanical, and consumer products industries.
Manufacturing activity has rebounded thanks to increased domestic and export demand, along with the stability of the supply chain.
The city's processing and manufacturing industry recorded a growth rate of 11.59%, playing a key role in the entire industry and contributing greatly to the overall economic growth of the region.
Notably, many specific manufacturing industries recorded high growth rates thanks to positive spillovers and diversification of industrial production structures.
Some industries with outstanding growth include the production of other means of transport, which increased sharply by 46.53%, showing signs of recovery and expansion of high-tech industries; repair, maintenance and installation of machinery and equipment increased by 54.37%, reflecting the increased demand for maintenance and modernization of production machinery.

This is a positive signal for the city's sustainable industrial development in the coming time.
To promote industrial production growth, the department continues to promote administrative reform, reduce the time for carrying out procedures for enterprises, especially procedures for implementing new investment projects, expanding investment in the industrial sector, ensuring progress in completion and operation, and adding additional capacity to the industrial sector.
The Department of Industry and Trade is also researching and proposing the establishment of new industrial clusters in communes and wards in the city to meet the need to relocate industrial production facilities in communes and wards; reviewing and advising on adjusting and supplementing the resolution to support investment in developing infrastructure for industrial clusters.
