Sea - border - delta advantages combined
Currently, the province has a coastline of more than 200km, more than 140 large and small islands, with more than 148km of border. In recent years, the international border gate system of Vinh Xuong, Tinh Bien and Ha Tien has been oriented to become a trade connection center in the region. In the near future, when the two expressways Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang and Ha Tien - Rach Gia - Bac Lieu are completed, it will create a strategic traffic corridor, promoting industry, logistics and tourism.

Improving "soft infrastructure" and investing in strategic infrastructure
In an effort to maintain double-digit growth, An Giang still identifies people and technology as the two main pillars for development. “To achieve sustainable growth, we must improve the quality of “soft infrastructure” such as people, technology and data,” Mr. Pham Minh Tam emphasized.
In the coming time, digital transformation will be strongly implemented in the public administration, trade, services, tourism and agriculture sectors. The province strives to bring PCI, DTI and PII into the top 20 localities in the country. To achieve this goal, the province focuses on training high-quality human resources for the processing industry, logistics, information technology, tourism and high-tech agriculture. The province focuses on effectively promoting Resolutions 57, 59, 66 and 68 of the Politburo to innovate the growth model and improve competitiveness. Develop modern agriculture, combine deep processing, apply high technology and orient green and circular production; form research centers for breeds and high-tech marine farming.
An Giang will promote in-depth industry, prioritizing the processing of food, pharmaceuticals, construction materials, renewable energy, garments, and footwear. To attract investment in potential areas, the province continues to perfect planning, especially in the sea and island space. At the same time, synchronous investment in strategic infrastructure such as highways, seaports, river ports and airports to connect regions smoothly. In addition, it will strengthen the development of dynamic urban areas including Phu Quoc, Rach Gia, Long Xuyen, Chau Doc and Ha Tien in the direction of tourism, ecology, trade - services and marine economy... "When each resolution is turned into action, each route is completed and each person becomes a link in the innovation chain, the problem of double-digit growth will have a sustainable solution", Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung emphasized.
