Hanoi City Tax Department accompanies and promotes business households to digitally transform and develop

On the morning of November 18, Hanoi Tax Department held a conference in person and online at 187 Giang Vo. The conference supported business households to convert from lump-sum tax to declaration, develop into enterprises, and at the same time organized a Lucky Invoice Selection Program. The purpose is to remove difficulties and guide new tax policies.

The conference was held to promote, remove difficulties and support the community of households and business individuals to implement new tax policies. The program helps the community understand their rights, benefits and obligations in accordance with the digitalization trend.

The conference was chaired by Deputy Head of Hanoi Tax Nguyen Tien Minh. Also attending were representatives of leaders and officials of departments under Hanoi Tax. Guests included representatives of the Vietnam Tax Consulting Association, technology solution providers, and joint stock commercial banks. Nearly 200 representatives of business households and KOLs, KOCs, and KOS were also present. At 25 online bridges, there were the participation of leaders of ward/commune People's Committees, officials managing business households, and representatives of market and commercial center management boards.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Deputy Head of Hanoi Tax Nguyen Tien Minh emphasized that 2025 is the year of major adjustments in mechanisms, policies and development planning. Mr. Minh affirmed that the private economy continues to be an important driving force and receives special attention. He pointed out that the transition from lump-sum tax to declaration is not "adding procedures". This is a change in approach, placing trust in taxpayers to self-declare according to actual revenue. Tax authorities will focus on supporting, authenticating and ensuring fairness through electronic data.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Minh also said that when transparency and fairness become the norm, business households will confidently expand cooperation and integration. The transformation of the management model is a step forward in digital transformation, publicity, transparency, towards a modern tax administration. The capital's tax sector is determined to successfully complete the 60-day and night plan. This activity contributes significantly to the modernization of tax administration and sustainable private economic development in accordance with the spirit of Resolution 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo .

Hanoi Tax Department organized a conference with a series of practical activities. The activities created conditions for business households and individuals to access new, official information and experience many support solutions. Specifically, the Digital Technology Exhibition and Support Consulting, where business households can experience and receive free consultation on electronic tax platforms and sales management software. The "Lucky Invoice Selection" program has a total prize value of up to 400 million VND; to encourage business households to apply electronic invoices, contributing to improving transparency. In the training program, business households were given detailed instructions on new tax regulations, benefits of declaration methods and conversion procedures. The instructions included updating tax data in sync with the national population database, using the eTax Mobile application and implementing electronic invoices.

The conference listened to Mr. Le Ngoc Huy, Head of the Department of Business Household Management and Other Individual Taxpayers, present the results and implementation plan. Mr. Huy also introduced the accompanying technology solution providers. The representative of the Tax Department directly answered and resolved many questions from the reality of business households regarding revenue declaration, invoice creation, and business registration.

The series of events implemented by Hanoi Tax Department is considered a very practical support step. This activity helps business households access information quickly, fully, and clearly understand their rights and benefits. At the same time, the event also creates conditions for business households and individuals to convert to the declaration method or develop into enterprises conveniently and in accordance with legal regulations.
