Son My dialogues with businesses, promotes local economic development

The conference was chaired by Mr. Nguyen Van Ty, Chairman of Son My Commune People's Committee, with the participation of leaders of the Commune Party Committee and socio- political organizations.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Ty, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of enterprises, production facilities and businessmen in the past time. He also commended enterprises and businessmen with outstanding achievements, making important contributions to the socio -economic development of Son My commune.

At the conference, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Son My commune emphasized that the main goal is to listen to the difficulties and problems of businesses and entrepreneurs in the process of investment and production expansion; at the same time, encourage units to continue to create jobs and actively contribute to the overall development of the locality. Thereby, the commune government has more basis to provide information, orientation and implement appropriate support policies, contributing to improving the investment - business environment and raising social awareness about the role of entrepreneurs in socio-economic development.

Currently, after the merger, Son My has 50 enterprises and 63 business households in operation. With many potentials and advantages for economic development, the locality is implementing large projects such as Son My 1 and Son My 2 Industrial Parks, which are currently being focused on by investors and departments, offices and units to carry out compensation and site clearance work. In addition, Thang Hai 1, 2, 3 Industrial Parks are also speeding up investment and construction progress.

Many businesses also share current difficulties.

In an open atmosphere, many businesses and production facilities have frankly raised difficulties and obstacles in the process of operation. Notably, issues related to tax policies and administrative procedures were proposed to be resolved promptly and more transparently to create a healthy production and business environment, thereby promoting local economic development.

After listening to opinions and recommendations from businesses, entrepreneurs and cooperatives, representatives of the People's Committee and the Economic Department fully acknowledged and discussed and clarified a number of outstanding issues. The locality committed to providing practical and effective solutions, suitable to actual conditions, to support businesses to operate safely, economically and sustainably. Thereby, continuing to promote the spirit of companionship between the government and the business community, encouraging the social responsibility of entrepreneurs in the process of socio-economic development in Son My.
