Lam Dong hosts the program responding to the Month of Action for Gender Equality in 2025

On the afternoon of November 25, the Lam Dong Provincial Women's Union (LWU) held a meeting to deploy coordination contents to serve the series of activities and events responding to the Month of Action for Gender Equality and Prevention and Response to Gender-Based Violence in 2025.

Representatives of relevant units met to discuss coordination in organizing the program in response to the Month of Action for Gender Equality in 2025.

The program was chaired by the Central Presidium of the Vietnam Women's Union and held in Lam Dong .

As planned, the rally and discussion program in response to the Action Month will take place at 8:00 a.m. on November 28, at Lam Vien Square (Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat), with the theme "Gender equality and safety for women and girls in the digital age". The program is chaired by Comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyen, Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam Women's Union, and will be livestreamed on the Vietnam Women's Union fanpage.

It is expected that about 600 delegates will attend the program, including representatives of several central ministries and branches; leaders of Lam Dong province; departments, branches, sectors, socio- political organizations; Women's Unions of Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Dong Nai, Da Nang provinces; officials, members, women, students in the province.

The program includes outstanding activities such as a rally in response to the Action Month; a discussion on policies to promote gender equality and prevent and respond to gender-based violence in the digital age; a street parade and a formation symbolizing the Action Month.

Within the framework of the program, there will also be an exhibition displaying and introducing information and communication products on gender equality from a number of provinces and cities; handicraft booths, activities to increase interaction with delegates and people, and convey messages on gender equality.

Speaking at the preparatory meeting, Ms. H'Vi ÊBan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Women's Union, requested the event organizer to soon complete the overall plan to create a common consensus. At the same time, she expressed her hope that departments, branches, and localities would closely coordinate and carefully prepare conditions for location, security, order, traffic, health , technology, and communication... Contributing to the successful organization of activities within the framework of the program.

The Provincial Women's Union said it will continue to review the work and promote propaganda to attract the attention of members, women and people, creating a wide spread for the event.
