According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on November 21, floods on rivers from Hue city to Khanh Hoa are receding, while floods on the Krong Ana river ( Dak Lak ) are rising.
By mid-afternoon today, the flood on the Ba River at Cung Son station will drop below alert level 2, at Phu Lam station below alert level 3; the flood on the Kon River will continue to drop and be below alert level 2. The Krong Ana River will continue to rise and be above alert level 3.
It is forecasted that in the next 10-24 hours, flood on Ba River at Cung Son station will continue to decrease and be below alert level 1, at Phu Lam station it will be above alert level 2; flood on Kon River will continue to decrease and be below alert level 2; Krong Ana River will rise slowly and be above alert level 3.
During the day and night of November 21, the eastern part of the provinces from Da Nang city to Dak Lak and the northern part of Khanh Hoa province will have moderate to heavy rain with common rainfall of 40-80mm, locally very heavy rain over 150mm.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the North will continue to have sunny days and cold nights and early mornings; the Central and South Central regions will experience moderate to heavy rain, with some places experiencing very heavy rain. The South will continue to have thunderstorms in the late afternoon, so be on guard for dangerous weather phenomena.
Specifically, in the capital Hanoi, there are few clouds, sunny days, no rain at night. Northeast wind level 2-3. Cold mornings and nights. Lowest temperature 14-16 degrees Celsius; highest 21-23 degrees Celsius.
In the Northwest, it is cloudy and sunny during the day; rain in some places at night. Light wind. Cold in the morning and at night, with some places being very cold; in mountainous areas, beware of frost. Lowest temperature 13-16 degrees Celsius, in some places below 12 degrees Celsius; highest 20-23 degrees Celsius, in some places above 23 degrees Celsius.
In the Northeast region, it is sunny during the day and rainless at night. Northeast wind level 2-3. Cold in the morning and at night; in mountainous areas, there is severe cold; in high mountains, there is a possibility of frost. Lowest temperature is 13-16 degrees Celsius, in some places below 12 degrees Celsius; highest is 21-24 degrees Celsius.
From Thanh Hoa to Hue, the North has clouds, sunny days, and some rain at night; the South has clouds, some rain. The North to Northwest wind is level 2-3, coastal areas are level 3-4. In the North, the morning and night are cold. The lowest temperature is 15-18 degrees Celsius; the highest is 20-23 degrees Celsius, some places are over 23 degrees Celsius.
The South Central Coast region is cloudy with moderate to heavy rain, locally very heavy rain; in particular, in the South of Khanh Hoa and the East of Lam Dong, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. Northeast to North wind level 2-3, coastal areas level 3-4, some places gusting to level 6. During thunderstorms, beware of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts. Lowest temperature: North 19-22 degrees Celsius, South 22-25 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature: North 23-26 degrees Celsius, South 27-30 degrees Celsius, some places over 30 degrees Celsius.
In the Central Highlands, it is cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Northeast wind level 3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. The lowest temperature is 17-20 degrees Celsius, in some places below 17 degrees Celsius; the highest is 23-26 degrees Celsius, in some places above 26 degrees Celsius.
Southern provinces have scattered showers and thunderstorms; scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Northeast wind level 2-3. Beware of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind in thunderstorms. Lowest temperature 23-26 degrees Celsius; highest 28-31 degrees Celsius, some places above 31 degrees Celsius.
Ho Chi Minh City has scattered showers and thunderstorms; in the evening there will be showers and thunderstorms. Northeast wind level 2-3.
