On behalf of the City People's Council delegation, delegate Nguyen Dinh Luu, Deputy Commander of the Hanoi Capital Command, informed voters of 3 communes and wards about the content, time and organization of the regular meeting at the end of 2025 of the City People's Council, term XVI, term 2021-2026, scheduled to be held from November 26 to 28, to consider and approve 73 contents (52 resolutions and 21 reports); summary report of the City People's Committee on the results of implementing the socio- economic development tasks in 2025, the socio-economic development plan in 2026; report of the City People's Committee responding to voters' recommendations before and after the 25th session.
Voters of 3 communes and wards expressed their consensus and trust in the effectiveness of leadership, direction and management of the city's socio-economic development in recent times. At the same time, 7 voters made recommendations focusing on 24 contents: Transferring small roads to communes and wards for timely repair, creating favorable conditions for people to travel; granting first-time land certificates to people of Hong Hau residential group, Yen Thinh residential group and riverside area (formerly Phu Thinh ward).
Voters reflected on the abandoned old commune and ward People's Committee headquarters, requesting to change the purpose of use to avoid waste and degradation; requesting the city to direct departments and branches to coordinate with localities in operating the Xuan Son landfill area; develop standards for treating wastewater from the column A landfill; policies for commune-level officials and residential group officials when performing a very large amount of work as at present; consider handing over Xuan Khanh lake to Tung Thien ward for management to ensure efficiency as well as regulate irrigation water for local agricultural production...
The opinions were directly answered by the leaders of the 3 communes and wards, clarifying many issues within their authority.
On behalf of the City People's Council Delegation, Delegate Tran Anh Tuan, Director of the Hanoi Department of Science and Technology, highly appreciated the voters' sincere and frank opinions, and clarified some issues of concern to voters. Delegate Tran Anh Tuan also requested local Party committees and authorities to remove difficulties and obstacles, promptly resolve petitions within their authority, and affirmed that the voters' opinions and petitions will be fully compiled by the City People's Council Delegation and forwarded to competent authorities for consideration, resolution, and response according to regulations.
