Military Region 7 supports people in flooded areas of Nam Da

On the afternoon of November 23, authorized by the Military Region 7 Command, leaders of Lam Dong Provincial Military Command visited, encouraged and presented gifts to support people in Nam Da commune.

Colonel Le Truc Lam, Deputy Commander of Lam Dong Provincial Military Command, authorized by Military Region 7 Command, presented gifts to the people of Nam Da commune.

The working delegation led by Colonel Le Truc Lam, Deputy Commander of Lam Dong Provincial Military Command, presented 30 gifts of essential necessities to support families affected by floods in Buon Choah, Nam Da commune.

The activity demonstrates the sentiment and responsibility of the armed forces of Military Region 7 in accompanying and sharing difficulties with people in disaster-stricken areas; thereby contributing to consolidating the "people's hearts" and enhancing the close relationship between the military and people in the area.

The working delegation of Lam Dong Provincial Military Command visited some people with health problems.

Previously, due to the rising water level of the Krong No and Krong Ana rivers, many villages and hamlets of Nam Da commune were deeply flooded. The Command of Defense Zone 2 - Dong Gia Nghia (under the Lam Dong Provincial Military Command) mobilized hundreds of officers and soldiers to support the people.

A child with a high fever was taken out of the flooded house by officers of the Defense Command of Region 2 - Dong Gia Nghia.

Since November 20, the military has coordinated with local authorities and other forces to deploy response plans and transport people and property out of flooded areas to safety.

Many houses of Nam Da commune residents were isolated in the flood.
