Cham religious dignitaries contribute to maintaining security and order

Previously, the security and order situation in some areas of the province, especially the Cham ethnic minority area, was still complicated. However, thanks to the drastic participation of the political system, especially religious dignitaries and prestigious people in the Cham community, the situation has had positive changes.

In recent times, with the efforts of sectors and localities, the socio -economic life of localities in the province, especially the areas where the Cham ethnic people live, has changed and developed a lot. The quality of life of the people has gradually improved.

Training, disseminating and providing information to prestigious people in ethnic minority areas

However, the political security and social order and safety situation in this region still has many complex factors, requiring new, practical and sustainable solutions.

Based on that request, the Provincial Police coordinated with localities to survey and build a model of "Dignitaries and intellectuals participating in maintaining security and order" in the Cham ethnic minority area.

The model promotes the important role of Brahmanical dignitaries, prestigious people who understand customs and practices, and understand the thoughts and lives of the people. Thereby, it creates a bridge between the government and the people in the work of mobilizing, propagating, and solving problems arising right at the grassroots level.

Along with religious activities, dignitaries and prestigious people also coordinate with villages to successfully mediate many family conflicts and land disputes, contributing to maintaining solidarity and cohesion in the community.

They always encourage people to comply with the Party's policies and the State's laws, not to participate in illegal racing, and to stay away from social evils, especially drugs and gambling. Their exemplary role in educating their children and grandchildren and their family lineage becomes a spiritual support to help prevent violations right in the family.

Mr. Kim Ngoc Thanh introduces Cham culture to young people, contributing to preserving ethnic culture.

Typical among them is Mr. Kim Ngoc Thanh (born in 1950), a prestigious person of the Cham community in Binh Tien village, Bac Binh commune. As Deputy Head of the Core Group of the model "Brahmin dignitaries participating in ensuring security and order for a peaceful life", and also a member of the Provincial Council of Brahmin Dignitaries, Mr. Thanh has always been dedicated, responsible and respected by the people for many years.

Mr. Thanh always coordinates with local authorities, socio-political organizations and the police to regularly participate in mobilizing, propagating and educating the law among families, clans and the masses.

Mr. Thanh also always reminds his children and grandchildren to strictly follow the provisions of the law to avoid complications in security and order in residential areas.

His sincerity and prestige have helped many families change their perceptions. From there, they actively join hands to build a cultural life and build safe residential areas. Many other prestigious people in the Cham community in the province still silently contribute every day.

They not only encourage people to develop the economy and preserve traditional cultural identity, but also regularly propagate and guide the prevention of backward customs and superstitions, contributing to building a civilized and united lifestyle.

Thanks to the cooperation of dignitaries and prestigious people, many models of crime prevention and security maintenance have been effective in villages and hamlets such as: "Security light", "Security camera", "Cultural and self-governing clan", "Shock team to protect street security and order", "Residential area to prevent and combat drugs"...

These models create a “shield” from the grassroots, helping to prevent crime, raise awareness and strengthen people's trust.

The active participation of religious dignitaries and prestigious people among the Cham people has contributed significantly to maintaining the stability of security and order in the province. This is a sustainable factor of great significance in building a movement of the entire people to protect the security of the Fatherland.
