Young Vietnamese entrepreneurs mobilized more than 25 billion VND to join hands to help flood victims

Responding to the spirit of "mutual love" in the face of serious damage caused by floods, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association quickly activated emergency support of 25 billion VND.

In the past few days, as images and information about natural disasters flooded the hearts of millions of Vietnamese people, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association issued a call for the entire young business community nationwide to join hands with people in disaster-stricken areas.

This call immediately created a strong influence. The Young Entrepreneurs Association of 34 provinces and cities and its affiliated Clubs quickly organized reception, mobilization and donation points.

From the Social Security Fund of the Central Association, together with the active contributions of member enterprises nationwide, a large resource has been quickly mobilized.

Shortly after the appeal, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, together with local associations and member businesses, mobilized more than VND25 billion in cash and many other essential items to support heavily affected provinces.

These resources are being prioritized for heavily impacted localities such as Cao Bang, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Ninh Binh, Bac Ninh , Hue, Da Nang, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa... Support activities focus on urgent needs: Support for repairing and rebuilding damaged houses; providing food, necessities, and medicine; supporting production recovery and stabilizing livelihoods after the flood.

The Young Entrepreneurs Associations of the localities not only stopped at donating but also sent working groups directly to the flooded areas, prepared relief vehicles, waded through mud to help people clean up their houses, transport goods and share and encourage their spirits.

Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association Dang Hong Anh said that all the money and donations are being transferred by the Unions at all levels in close coordination with local authorities to the most severely affected areas, ensuring support reaches the right beneficiaries, in a timely and practical manner.

The Central Association pledges to continue updating the list of supporters and coordinate with local Young Entrepreneurs Associations to deliver gifts to people in the most transparent and effective way, contributing to helping people in flood-affected areas overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
