At Mimosa Pass (Lam Dong), the Ministry of Construction assigned Project Management Board 85 to preside over the survey, develop optimal technical solutions and carry out troubleshooting to ensure the earliest route opening.

On the same day, the Vietnam Road Administration said that by the afternoon of November 22, there were still 13 traffic jams on national highways passing through the South Central region, including 1 on a national highway managed by the Central Government and 12 on national highways managed by localities. The Vietnam Road Administration is directing units to support materials and equipment, and wait for the water to recede to repair the damage and soon clear the road.

Vietnam Railways Corporation said that as of the afternoon of November 22, the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City railway line through the South Central region had nearly 30 points with damaged infrastructure, causing train operations to be interrupted. Because the roads were also paralyzed, the railway industry had served 15,000 meals to passengers.

By the afternoon of November 22, thousands of vehicles were still stuck for more than 20km on National Highway 1A, from Van Ninh Commune to Ca Pass Tunnel ( Khanh Hoa Province). According to Ninh Hoa Traffic Police Station, an estimated 5,000 vehicles were stuck, mainly container trucks and long-distance passenger buses. The congestion has lasted for the past 2-3 days, causing many drivers transporting frozen goods and fruits to worry because of the risk of damage.

The cause of the traffic jam was that the northern part of Ca Pass in Dak Lak province was deeply flooded, and National Highway 1A was severely damaged, so the authorities had to temporarily close the road. Traffic police diverted vehicles to other routes to reduce the load. By the evening of the same day, the number of vehicles was still stuck in a queue for many kilometers. Ninh Hoa Traffic Police Station and local people supported more than 1,000 free meals for stranded drivers and passengers.

On the same evening, the Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 6 (Traffic Police Department) said that the authorities are coordinating with the Traffic Police of Lam Dong and Khanh Hoa provinces to regulate vehicles leaving the highway connecting Lam Dong to Khanh Hoa (South-North direction), moving to National Highway 1A to reduce congestion at the Van Gia intersection and Ca Pass tunnel.

Meanwhile, Khanh Le Pass (National Highway 27C connecting Lam Dong province) continues to be severely damaged, the road surface cracked due to consecutive landslides. From November 19 to 22, authorities discovered 7 new landslides on the pass, passing through Nam Khanh Vinh commune.

In addition, three landslides that occurred from November 16 to now have not been resolved due to complicated weather conditions; some sections of the road have large cracks that have completely cut off the pass route.
