Lam Dong: Hill subsidence, many households urgently evacuated

On the evening of November 23, Lam Dong province authorities were evacuating 29 households after many landslides appeared in villages in D'ran commune.

Green Ba La Hill, D'ran commune, Lam Dong province subsided on the afternoon of November 23.

Earlier, in the afternoon of the same day, the authorities received information that Ba La Xanh hill (near Highway 27) had a subsidence about 300m long and 50cm wide, so they blocked off the area at the foot of the hill.

In the evening of the same day, authorities assisted people in moving their property out of areas at high risk of landslides.

Afterwards, the local government mobilized dozens of militiamen and soldiers to help people transport their property and belongings out of their homes for safety.

In recent days, D'ran commune has been one of the localities that suffered heavy damage due to floods. Military Region 7 has mobilized many officers and soldiers to D'ran to support local authorities and people in overcoming the consequences of floods.
