Preservation work is carried out systematically, closely linked to community life, from traditional dance training classes, folk musical instruments, spiritual rituals to the restoration of folk art forms that are at risk of disappearing. The artisans directly teaching the younger generation has created a connection between memory and the future, helping to maintain the cultural source.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Quynh, Deputy Head of the Family Culture Management Department, the conservation work is oriented towards depth, with the community as the center and the people as the subject. The last months of the year are the peak of implementing restoration activities such as big drum music, Cau An ritual and many typical folk activities.

The Khmer Art Troupe not only performs but also acts as a bridge to inspire and create cultural pride in the community. Tours in villages and communes, exchanges at communal cultural houses, combining drums, flutes and graceful dances, recreate spiritual life and arouse community cohesion.

Mr. Huu Trung, Head of the Khmer Art Troupe, said that the performances at the facility also open up a direction for developing cultural tourism , by integrating Khmer performances into the province's festivals and events, attracting tourists and enriching local identity.

In addition, the cultural sector promotes the application of digital technology , digitizes documents, records rituals and folk melodies, builds online performance spaces, and reaches the young generation in the digital age.

The journey to revive Khmer culture in Ca Mau is a combination of efforts from the authorities, artists and the community, contributing to enriching the spiritual depth of the southernmost land of the Fatherland, ensuring that national identity is preserved, continued and spread.
