  • Ca Mau crabs "sold out" in the first 2 days of the Food Festival in Ho Chi Minh City

After the grand and colorful opening ceremony on the evening of November 16, the 2nd Ca Mau Crab Festival bustlingly welcomed a large number of people and tourists to visit, learn, and shop at the exhibition space, crab industry trade exhibition, startup products, innovation and OCOP products, with a scale of more than 270 booths.

Along with the trade connection activities are specialized seminars and forums. In particular, the highlight is the International Seminar "Innovation for sustainable development of the sea crab industry" with the participation of many scientists , leading aquaculture experts, businesses, international organizations and representatives of localities, crab farmers in the province proposed many solutions to promote sustainable development of the sea crab industry of Vietnam in general and Ca Mau province in particular; Ca Mau Province Startup Festival - CamaUP'2025 with the theme "Green seafood - Sustainable development trend".

In particular, the Festival also organizes many attractive art, cultural, sports and folk game activities: The first Southern Amateur Music Festival of Ca Mau province in 2025; Ca Mau Marathon 2025 - PETROVIETNAM Cup gathering more than 6,000 athletes to participate; promoting delicious dishes from Ca Mau crab, combining specialties of 34 provinces and cities; interesting competitions revolving around the "main character" Ca Mau crab: "Fastest crab catcher", "Legendary crab race", "Fastest crab tying", "Biggest crab claw in the land of crabs"...

A highlight of this year's Crab Festival is the "Hello Ca Mau" event and the promotion of the Ca Mau Crab Festival in Ho Chi Minh City, which not only successfully promoted the potential, socio-economic strengths, and Ca Mau Crab brand, but also effectively connected and attracted investment cooperation to the province for businesses in the most developed city in the country.

As the first important cultural, sports and tourism event held since the province's unification, the Festival contributes to creating an exciting atmosphere among the entire province's people, sharing faith, multiplying strength, and joining forces to realize the goal of bringing Ca Mau to comprehensive development, confidently entering a new era with the whole country.
